My family has several generations in this situation. I had my children in my mid thirties, so did my mom…and her mom had her at forty!

My parents are in their seventies now and my kids are five and three. My kids adore their grandparents and I hope they have a long relationship. I only had one grandparent left by the time I was twelve.
