Halloween is the kind of time when I want to do something to show off my long hair and maybe dazzle and amaze people with just how long it is. It’s a strange criteria for a costume but if I’m trying to think of one there must be other people searching for Halloween costumes for long hair.

Mortica Adams

Sleek, smooth hair parted in the middle is all you need, though to really get that glossy flat look you might need heat tools (I’ve never tried so I’m not sure!) If you flat iron make sure you use a heat protectant like Thermal Defense Mist. I’ve also found that the Lilla Rose hair serum makes my hair shiny. (Those are affiliate links and I will get credit if you decide to shop on Lilla Rose).

Dorothy

Two Dutch braids will give you the classic Dorothy look.

Arwen

LOTR elves have very impressive braids and you can get the Arwen look with a flowy dress and this “battle braid”

Jasmine

Front twists and a bubble braid would give the look of the cartoon. For real volume use cut-up foam hair donuts to pull the front sections over.

Rapunzel (of course!)

Anna from Frozen

Cher

Pretty much the same hair as Mortica but different outfit!

Alice In Wonderland

It wouldn’t show off the length but the fake shorter hair method would give it the soft puffy volume of the cartoon:

Katniss

I’ve got a Halloween dance to go to tomorrow and I still don’t know what I’m going to wear! But now at least I have some ideas and choices.
